No one cares about the i-Kike. Let's just all put him back in the
killfiles and everything will be much better.

    Shit, merde et re-shit...

Will have to postpone the next UKRMMA chapter meet, then?

If you came out unscathed, your bike could have its fork tube slightly
bent or at least displaced in the crown. You may not notice it (until
you lift you hands from the handlebar...).

When the insurance "expert" comes, also show any damage to your
protective gear, and have ready any invoices for additional bits on the
bike. If he is a tall, leather clad guy on a BMW, expect the bike to be
refurbished to new at the expense of the girl's insurance company.

I've still got the cage. Mind you, I might see if I can blag a bike off
someone (maybe on frm (I need to put up a post there)?) or buy
something to run around on, which I can resell later on.

As for a meet up, I'll drop you a mail. Monty is on DVD for you.
Good point. I didn't think of that, at the time.
<G> As it goes, when I got home, I found out that the clip on my
bagster tank bag was bent, so I couldn't get the bag off the tank
without breaking the clip. I also saw that there was a hook missing
    from the tank cover.

Apart from that, I don't think that I touched the ground. IIRC, when I
was hit, as the bike fell, I think I must have jumped off at the same
time. Let's put it this way, I wasn't underneath 220 Kg of bike at any
    stage. Not that I remember.

I can still vote in Ireland, if that's what you mean; and France.

Criminal offences mainly, and it's worth noting that unless an employer has
warned you beforehand that he's monitoring your online activity, he can't
make use of the information that he gleans.

Does being french entitle one to vote in Ireland too?

You appear earnest, so allow me to point out that being Jewish doesn't
allow you to vote in Israel. Being an Israeli citizen does.

It's been common knowledge around here for ages, that I have dual Irish and
    French nationality ..
Nope. In fact, I _was_ going to start a thread about how I'm feeling old,
and how maybe I'll just give up motorcycles and buy a bicycle instead.
Then I decided the better of it.

Anyway, Yom Kippour's in an hour and a half, so tally ho and all that..

Oh yes, I knew that, interesting that you described yourself as Irish
though rather than French, that's all.
Ahh, so you're not too old and will be getting something motorised then.
    Shalom.

  20. Most certainly, in general elections at least. There's some discrepancy
between EU nationals and UK ones so far as entitlement to vote in
Ireland goes, but Icba to find out what it is right now.
