A new bike may have to wait a while, or MX5 MoT time.

MoT day for the MX5 today.
Failed on handbrake - expected
Requires new rear discs - not expected
New pads - expected
New cable - not expected

Failed on emissions - certainly not expected.
After checking with me and confirming that it had a nice clean air
filter (K&N fitted last September), good plugs (NGK EVX fitted two years
ago) and reasonably fresh Mobil in the sump and a good filter (Mazda OEM
fitted four months ago), they reckon it will be the cat and/or the O2
sensor.

Advisories on rear sill corrosion (as last year) and slightly corroded
rear brake lines (as last year).

So the new roof I keep promising it will have to wait, again.

Fingers crossed that Pointe de Corde can fix the Voxan for less than
four figures.
