    Well we are naturally disappointed that you have failed to develop
    proper navigational skills and have now resorted to namby pamby bits of
    technology.

    We'd also ask how you managed to get home from said French trip as you
    did not use the FCS for the return trip? Did you follow someone else
    and if so are they not available this time for the outward trip?

    Having researched the route there are only about 5 or 6 road numbers
    that you have to remember in France and none of those are the Autoroute.
    Pretty reliable?! - harrumph

    I think you mean "we found the only petrol station that was still open
    at that time of day in the middle of bloody nowhere".
