So a delicate question arises, I seek advice. Soon (Insh'Allah) the BlingMobile will be rolling down the ramp of a ferry to enter France. Can the panel recommend some music to accompany this manoeuvre? It will be playing loudly, and will need to fit reasonably well with that being played by Dodger's 'Wing. -- Wicked Uncle Nigel - Manufacturer of the "Champion-105" range of rearsets WS* GHPOTHUF#24 APOSTLE#14 DLC#1 COFF#20 BOTAFOT#150 HYPO#0(KoTL) IbW#41 ZZR1100, Enfield 500 Curry House Racer "The Basmati Rice Burner", Honda GL1000K2 (On its hols) Kawasaki ZN1300 Voyager "Oh, Oh, It's so big"
I suggest Mr John Kirkpatrick's 'Welcome to Hell'.[1] Bloody good fun on squeezeboxen and vocals, and sounds *very* English. And can be very loud. Only snag is getting Scan Tester polkas lodged in the brain. [1] Either Fledgling or Fellside publish.
"Boum" by Charles Trenet http://www.paroles.net/chansons/11790.htm That or John Phillip Souza's "Liberty Bell March".

Peter emerged from their own little world to say Bloody hell. That's 3 people on here who know what a melodeon is. I haven't paid much attention to what JK is doing nowadays. I hope his joints are fairing better than my brother who finds it difficult to play some days due to RSI.
Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, wessie I find it difficult to play some days. But it's bugger-all to do with RSI. Wicked Uncle Nigel emerged from their own little world to say Tell me about it. I could never get the hang of those bastard diatonic reeds. Press a button & push gets a note; press the same button & pull gets the next note in the scale. If that's not bad enough when you get to the last 2 notes in the scale the push/pull sequence reverses. It matters not. Even if I could play the sequence of notes in the right order I would never be able to play them at the correct, or even a consistent, tempo.

Having had a quick rummage through the mp3 collection: Ave Satani (The Omen) [1] Peer Gynt I: Morning Mood [2] Peer Gynt IV: In the Hall of the Mountain King [2] Faithless: Insomnia Fun Lovin' Criminals: Scooby Snacks (Schmooze Mix) [1] For extra WTF factor, the Gregorian Masters of Chant version [2] Can anyone recommend a decent recording of the Peer Gynt Suites? The one I've got is particularly shit.
Wicked Uncle Nigel emerged from their own little world to say Were you on the 1st TOGTour to Caudebec? steady on I think so. Although, even if I hadn't, based on the sample of UKRM I have met IRL, I think it was an odds on bet that my hunch would be spot on
