A Musical Question.

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Wicked Uncle Nigel, Apr 12, 2005.

  1. So a delicate question arises, I seek advice.

Soon (Insh'Allah) the BlingMobile will be rolling down the ramp of a
    ferry to enter France.

Can the panel recommend some music to accompany this manoeuvre?

It will be playing loudly, and will need to fit reasonably well with
that being played by Dodger's 'Wing.

I suggest Mr John Kirkpatrick's 'Welcome to Hell'.[1] Bloody good fun on
squeezeboxen and vocals, and sounds *very* English. And can be very
loud. Only snag is getting Scan Tester polkas lodged in the brain.

Bloody hell. That's 3 people on here who know what a melodeon is.

I haven't paid much attention to what JK is doing nowadays. I hope his
joints are fairing better than my brother who finds it difficult to play
    some days due to RSI.

I find it difficult to play some days.

But it's bugger-all to do with RSI. More of a "complete lack of talent"
    issue, I feel.

Tell me about it. I could never get the hang of those bastard diatonic
reeds. Press a button & push gets a note; press the same button & pull gets
the next note in the scale. If that's not bad enough when you get to the
last 2 notes in the scale the push/pull sequence reverses.

It matters not. Even if I could play the sequence of notes in the right
order I would never be able to play them at the correct, or even a
    consistent, tempo.
