Somehow ended up sounds about right because Stevington isn't exactly
on the way to anywhere. I used to live about 50 yards from the cross
and it was a great village to grow up in with pubs that served 12 year
old kids with beer (1) and it's very own disused railway line where
the pissed up 12 year olds could learn to ride motorbikes.

(1) Only if you drank it in the garden.

 

"Entrance"? - it's a gap in the hedge.

 

With a big metal gate, and a huge airfield behind it.
