the re-siting of the smoking areas outside the building.

Security chappie moved us on today after the fire drill.

When I suggested he might want to go and make sure all the fire doors
were properly bolted shut[1], he disappeared with his tail between his
legs.

Yeah, good plan. It would have been much better if Dyson had done
nothing and had gone out of business rather than just laying off some of
his workforce. By not buying you make it much more likely that we'll
manage to get shot of the rest of his workforce. Hurrah!

[3]India produces 2 million graduates a year. Only 30% of them find
work.
[4]In this country, £5 or £6 an hour is what you get if you're young, or
unskilled, or disabled, or female, or part-time etc. In India, 50p an
hour is good wages. It's so cheap that company directors pretty well
have a fiduciary duty to their shareholders to check it out.
