Looking for some empirical data to exemplify a point in an essay I found:

    "Compendium of Motorcycling Statistics" from
    http://www.dft.gov.uk/stellent/grou...uments/downloadable/dft_transstats_032250.pdf

    381kB pdf file published 21st October 2004.

Apparently, bike sales are lower in Scotland and Wales as the areas are
less suitable for bikes. Yeah, right.

A myriad nuggets of useless information for pub anoraks.

Including "a breathalysed bike rider is less likely to be pissed than a
    breathalysed car driver"
