Lady Thatchers pronouncement on ID cards.

She's prolly taking a swipe at HRH Mrs Saxe Cobourg Golgotha as well as the
gummint, but all the same I can't but agree with the sentiment.

I'm in agreement with Margaret Thatcher...

What did she say, then? I had a quick nose around bbcnews and The
Guardian, but couldn't find anything.


Good to see that Thatcher's old mate General Pinochet has had a
stroke. I hope it was extremely painful, and that the rest of his
miserable life is excruciating agony.

 

Heard it on the 7am news on R4. No interview, but reported as saying she
was against ID cards because they are a Germanic concept alien to this
country.

If he really has had a stroke that is. The Highest Court in Argentina had
just overturned the earlier judgement that he was to ill to stand trial
for murder and torture a few days ago. So either the news of that
judgement has raised the muderous old cunts pressure sufficiently to
dislodge summat in his veins or he's dodging justice again.

Prolly the latter.
