Hmm.. I've fallen off many times at that speed or more, in various items
of kit, and not had that severity of damage.

So I'll continue to ride in my open face, and a denim jacket or less,
when I want to.

Specially not the one he crashed in and then touched up the scratches
with blackboard paint ;-)

I fell on to a surface that was very abrasive (large gravel chunks
embedded on top of tar/hotmix), and my gear really did its job.

It was a tearing action, not friction, and that would have chewed thru
skin and bone at a fast pace.

I was quite suprised by the damage, but there it was <shrug>, and I
was very glad to have a full face helmet and protective jacket that
day!

Awwww come on. What do you do when you see such obvious bait, you
reply with a dead pan serious response and see what bites you get on
your own hook.

So I snagged at least two, "hook line and sinker" as they say.


Why do you think I keep doing it time after time after time...OK cause
you think I'm a tool or something...well your probably right on that
one!
