I need an old laptop, nothing fancy, doesn't need a modem or network card or anything like that, it doesn't even matter if the battery is cacked if it has a charger it can work from. All I want it for is to stick CDR bike manuals in when I'm working in the garage. This will hopefully save me wearing a stripe in the carpet from back door to office and save me a shitload of time. My problem is I'm skint, I can't afford to buy one, so if anyone has one that doesn't hold a charge or is a bit slow, then I can give it a good home if it's only going to end up on freecycle.
