A Bit OT....musical and Michael Jackson

This is a little bit OT, but I know there are music lovers there who might
appreciate this little bit of news.

The young Australian guitarist handpicked by Michael Jackson to play a key
role in his London concerts says it was amazing to work with the King of Pop
and devastating to learn of his death.

Known simply as Orianthi the 24-year-old from Adelaide appears prominently
in recently released rehearsal video footage of Jackson preparing for the 50
concerts shot in Los Angeles two days before he died.

Speaking on CNN, Orianthi says she didn't believe it when she was first
invited to audition and found it surreal to work with Jackson.

She will now will perform at Michael Jackson's memorial service in Los
Angeles.



The above will certainly piss off Jennifer Batten as she played lead guitar
on one of Michael Jacksons shows

Music is a subjective thing George. You know, one man's cup of tea
etc...
For example, MJ, good though he may have been at one time or another,
always left me completely unimpressed.
And I happen to know a thing or two about music, let me tell you!!
But there you go, that's just my own opinion at work here. You might
completely disagree with me, as is your right. Just don't try to foist
your likes and dislikes on me, that's all.

It is up to you as to whether you like it or not
and it is also up to you to decide whether to read it or not

That was a little bit amusing when it first came out a year or so ago, but
it has been worn to death with conversation being changed as often as you
change your jocks.

Although I did have a look at it for a few seconds, because I had a slight
thought that you had something constructive to add.
