Ah, I've got a map out. Doesn't happen often. Your A4059 is from Hirwaun to
the Beacons Reservoir on the A470 half way from Merthyr to Brecon.

The road I thought you were on about is the A4067 Sennybridge-Ystradgynlais
road which passes Cray Resr. Another excellent road with a very fast
section across the plateau and an oh **** S bend with a nasty camber.

Plan A would be for you to ride to Brecon area via the A4059. Coffee in the
White Hart at Talybont. Joint UKRM/GBMCC ride to West End Cafe via Mynydd
Eppynt. You could then ride the A4069 Black Mountain road to get back home.
I'd probably bimble [1] back along the A40 to Aber.

    [1] stay below 90 anyway

    That's the one.
    Noted. Must try it.
Sounds like a plan. Would probably have to find a more interesting run
back from the A4069 to Ystrad Mynachm, though, as the roads into Swansea
    are a bit shite.

Indeed they are. That's why I ride to the top of the moutain from Llangadog
and go back down the same way. Alternative is to ride to Glyn-neath from
Ystradgynlais. There's a 40mph section that goes on forever though.

I wouldn't mind going back for a follow up session. This year is shaping
up to be stupidly busy again though, so I'd need to know dates before I
    could confirm.

And I wholeheartedly agree with the diminutive bokker's view on the
value for money. If you've not been Cordened, I highly recommend it.

I see you've got the hang of 'girlie' descriptions of vehicular faults
    then ;-)

I don't know, it's going into the dealers tomorrow. It's poorly sick
and may cost me a lot of money. There's a lot of vibration coming from
    the engine.

It's not a lot actually, if you go online and look at other sites that
do similar courses you can pay c£130 for one day. Plus the tuition is
very good, and the hosts I had last year were excellent.
Well...it may surprise you to find out that I never got much further in
booking something myself, mainly due to Steve not knowing what he is
doing yet (he wants to take up kart racing again) and Vicky has yet to
    secure another bike.

Can you put me down for a July date please.

  15. Put me down as a potential. Depending on when dates fall in line with
    paycheques and expenditures.

No, t'was very good, and interesting to note that probably half the stuff
you're taught to pass your test is, in fact, bollocks.

If I get the time and/or money I'd like to do the four day course with
qualification at the end of it, but I can't see it happening this year due
    to wedding plans and expenses.

Apart from cleaning the road with the LH side of me plus bike I have
to say the rest of the weekend went surprisingly well.
