A bargain bike? (with a health dose of WTF?)

There's a rather poorly looking Cagiva Raptor 1000 on biketrader.co.uk
being sold by Cheshire Motorcycle Salvage. It's a 2006 model, has done
    one mile, & they're asking £1,690.

Apart from the fact it appears to be a bit (lot) of a bargain, one
wonders how the hell it got in that state in only one mile. Fell off
the back of the delivery truck maybe?

The clocks got damaged in the accident. Mileage unknown.

Is that a guess or a fact? Seems unlikely as the bars & top of the tank
look ok, & the mirror glass doesn't even look broken.

A guess. But the clocks are definitely not there.

  5. Stolen from the showroom floor and recovered in a bad state? Insurance
    w/o anyway.

Is it just plastics and bodywork/bling that's knackered? Make a good
    bare bike, in that case.

Most likely they just forgot to put a mileage into the ad and it
    defaults to 1.

The lights, seat & side panels appear to be missing, fucked rear peg
hanger, bent subframe & knackered rear wheel. The tank looks a bit
scuffed on one side but hard to tell.

    AHOOGA! AHOOGA!

Don't touch that lot, they're a bunch of cunts. Have a googlegroups
    look for their history.

That set of my "avoid" alarms too. The OP's likely to get more loyal
and faithful service from Sideshow Bob.

The OP's project diary is well & truly full for the next six months, so
he wasn't thinking of buying it. Shame really - it'd make a cracking
basis for an uber big trailbike.
