Go to ebay & put in zx9r, you'll see the same auction twice, one at 3700 &
one at 1500 with best offer. What the **** is going on here?

Yep, that's the same URL you posted the first time.

    Have a look here:

    http://www.vwt4forum.co.uk/showthread.php?p=396632

What I'm saying is that is *not* Ebay. The domain is mc-cvic.com, and
although it won't load on my 'pooter, I strongly suspect it is a way of
stealing your login credentials for Ebay, so if you entered them on that
site, I'd suggest going and changing your password on Ebay.co.uk pronto.
While you are at it, if you use the same password everywhere, change
it on paypal, email and any other important sites you use.

The one at 1500 is a phishing scam.

When you load the genuine auction via Ebay, there's a script in the
page that re-directs to an identical page on Juan's website.

I'll be when you click and of the buy or My Ebay etc buttons, you'll
get prompted for your full Ebay credentials again. And then you've
    been had.

I suggest you change your password sharpish if you've 'watched' the
    auction.

I've reported it to Ebay so it should be pulled shortly.

The 3700 quid one appears to be legit.

I see it: you're not going mad.

One with 20 days to go, the other with 27.

    Different sellers, too.

Comes up with that MV-cvic nonsense.

    Bargepole at the ready.

Even though the seller should be jailed for being terminally stupid if
he thinks he'll get anywhere near that sort of money for what's
    obviously a wrecked 9R.

  18. It's still up at 1710. Interestingly, I clicked on the 'watch this item'
button and got taken to the German jeans.

I wanted to make an offer so I could send some fictitious details down
and waste the scammer's time, but it isn't working.
