Far too many to list, but one or two of the previously mentioned
bikes, including the katana, would better belong there.
    All of those too.

One that does stick in my memory is the Z1R - perhaps it was just the
contrast with the Z1/Z900/Z1000 series, which started out utterly
gorgeous, slowly losing their edge over time, but then the Z1R came
out and... yuck, just utterly, completely minging.

I've always liked the R90S but finding a genuine one amongst the shite
copies is getting harder by the year.
Truly horrible bikes. I'd burn the lot of them and the World would be a
    better place.

The R90S is a lovely bike but the R100S looks almost the same and is a
better bike, particularly the late Brembo edition. But another timeless
classic is the 850 Le Mans. MKI and MKII

So did I. It handled so badly though and TBF is does look like some students
in a Tech college knocked up the bodywork

  9. Isn't taste a strange thing? I wouldn't give that a second glance,
    personally.

  10. Oh, yes.

I know very little about either, technically: I did read an article a few
months ago about the BSA though.

  11. I had a beige CZ250 Sport - no fairing. Not pretty but MZs were way
    uglier.

  15. I don't know what is the matter with you lot[1]. All you ever seem to be
able to do is comment on how bikes look when without a rider and parked.
What is so wrong with judging the view as it is seen from the proper
    perspective, like behind the clocks?

It is not the bike but long distance and the swift passage of time what
    adds aesthetics to bikes.

[1] Well I do but I don't want to offend your delicate fucking
    sensibilities by mentioning it.

I very nearly died on a Z1R back in 1982. Fucking thing was the worst
handling pile of shit I'd ridden up until then, and at the time I owned
    a GT750 Kettle

Some of those are quite pretty compared with:

    Francis Barnett Fulmar

....and my all-time favourite, the Bohmerland 3-seater

The v-strom probably deserves a mention as well.
