No prizes for guessing I'd say the MV F4. I see you changed from
Lightening to Shadow, but I think you were right the first time. I'd
also include the 900SS, & give a special mention to the Aermacchi
    Chimera.

If you ever hear of a decent Shadow coming up for sale, I *might* be
in the market. Getting it past the Doctor might be tricky, but not
    impossible.

GFY. The katana was one of the ugliest bikes ever built.

  13. Beauty is a subjective thing, Ace, old bean.
I have a little model of a red XJR[1], which I think was one of the best
looking bikes ever ever but many disagree, finding it lumpy and overweight.
I have always loved the Katana's weirdness, though, especially the
    flappy eye on the front.

The Candy Orange original 1972 Z1 with the black engine looked best imo.

Well I'm another who immediately thought 750SS bevel (ideally the fibreglass
tank rather than the steel tank) so it looks like you may need to reassess
    your aesthetic values. :)

Agreed, but there's a surprising number of people here who've put the
Z1 on their list. Including me - I just think it's beautifully
    proportioned.

Why? the single sided swinging arm and wheel design are pretty but otherwise
it looks much as any race rep of the period and despite all the fluff the
    engine made 112bhp.
But that was undeniably a fantastic looking motorcycle
