Yep in NZ that's now the price in the main cities. Out of town it can get up
to $1-80 per litre. What does it cost in Ozz now?

One of my local servos has regular unleaded at about $1.24/litre. Although news reports are claiming fuel prices are about to jump
    to around $1.40.

will be $150.00 in a week if the barrel price hits 75 us , it doesn't
need to be but some one wants to make a fortune in a week.

If the barrel price hits $75 US (which is possible) and holds at that
level for a while then I'd expect prices to break $1.50 (possibly $1.60)
    in the metro areas.

I'm seeing even more scooters on the road.

More competition for bike parking :(

The mighty scooter gets about 18km/l which isn't too bad, the less
mighty pushbike gets 20km per bowl of Nutrigrain, so definitely wins!

Councils aren't exactly leaping to provide extra bike/scooter parking
    either!
I've been taking the outfit to work... which is fun, but it actually
about the same amount of fuel as the car *sigh*. Good thing I don't
have a long run into work :)

  12. On Monday afternoon in Melbourne I paid $1.18.3 for petrol and 46.9
for LPG. Heard prices were going up so I filled the van and 2 bikes.

    Kind regards

Thanks, glad the vans an oil burner then, but if I do get time on a bike I
    wont care about the cost.

It's $76.25US in Singapore, which is what our "parity" is based on.

  18. ?? Both of Maries K75s's usually averaged 20+ Clem. 75's are usually
pretty light on juice. I don't reckon you want to know that the TDM always
runs from 19-23 km/l then (going to work 50% of 120kmh freeway use, 50% in
    60-80k limits, no heavy traffic)?

    Dirty injectors?

I generally average 18-19 but I have got 21 once. The trick is to keep

Which isn't a 2 stroke being caned at every opportunity in stop-start
