    $900 looks good to me

I have a Suzuki Katana 1100, 1982 model, for auction. It was last
registered in 2001 and since then has been disassembled for
restoration. Unfortunately I don't have the time or the money to
complete this project, so it's time to get rid of it.

    VIN #: GS110X528016

Last registration number: JAK05 (NSW) 8/2001

    Points worthy of note:

Frame has been professionally straightened by Laurie Alderton
    New replica fibreglass fairing
    New replica windscreen
    Almost new front disc rotor
    Almost new rear mudguard
Unopened new set of replica indicators
    Unopened new rear indicator brackets
    Ventura rack L-brackets
Unusual front forks with adjustable damping; new fork seals
    Steering head bearings replaced
    Gearbox overhauled
    Centrestand present
    New front tyre (Dunlop)
Fuel tank is in good condition, no rust or holes (not in photos)
Issues you need to be aware of:

    Frame & bodywork requires repainting
Brake master cylinders are worn out and need replacing
Engine runs 100/120/120/100 compression; top end probably needs work
Re-welded alternator cover, probably from previous accident
    Rear Koni shocks need servicing
    Clutch probably needs overhaul
The final photo in the gallery section shows what the bike looked like
before the stripdown. This bike would make a great parts collection
for any Katana enthusiast currently working on a restoration, or the
    start of a streetfighter.

Please let this historic motorcycle go to a deserving home - otherwise
it'll just get dumped at the local wreckers!

I have all the original rego papers, receipts for work done, and
general proof of ownership. You can bid with confidence. You're
welcome to contact me for any questions.

it is very tempting and I do like the old school Suzuki's and the katana

    but enough 'projects' here atm

    cleaning up the shed today as I now have 3 bikes here 2 x VFR400 , 1 x RGV
    Tim has the FJR here
a dead CBX250 has taken up residence also and doesn't look like its leaving
    in the near future

along with the 2 pseudo bikes (suzuka arcade machine) ;)

still plenty more at the parents which they would gladly have me remove

either way it looks like a great buy , go on Smack bid you know you want it
    ;)

  8. CBX250? *Eyes light up nostalgically*
Don't need another dead bike though.
