'81 750 Katana help needed

    Hi All,

    I have a mate with an 81 750 Katana with a crack in the crank. The
    bike is currently in bits and I'm going to help him put it back
    together over the next few months.

    So does anyone know of anyone who can either weld/grind/balance the
    crank (in Melb) or has a working 750 engine for sale? (or a complete
    bike, depending on condition/price)

    Alternatively, does anyone know if any other engines will fit in a 750
    frame (eg. 1100 kat motor or gsxr 750/1100 from the 80's). This is a
    last resort option as my mate would like to keep it standard.
