Thanks to this newsgroup I was able to find a tachometer gear assembly on EBAY. The gear will not budge from the camshaft holder. I am currently soaking the entire assembly that I just got in the mail in mineral spirits....hoping that I can free the gear so I can replace all the seals and get on with my life...If you recognize this screen name and have been following this group you'll remember that about a month or so ago I was back to square one with the original tach assembly from my bike and I couldn't get the ^$&%# gear out so I took it to a shop and they broke the gear tang right off....so I found one on eBay that is also stuck.
