7th Annual Freedom Ride, Old Glory, Texas.
June 30, July 1-2, 2006
Come have Fun & Help TMRA II Protect Your Rights as a Biker.

Friday, June 30:
Move in, set up camp, All Day.
Flag Retirement after dark. Please gather up discarded and worn flags in
your area and bring them in.
Road Kill Grill- Food & Fuel

Saturday, July 1, 2006:
8:00 a.m.- Register for Poker Run in Old Glory (Fee included in
Registration)
9:00 a.m.- Leave as a group on scenic ride (low traffic roads). Ride at any
skill level.
11:30 a.m.- Last bike in, will draw poker hands till Noon.
12:30 p.m.- Parade and Independence Day programs. Bike Games hosted by CMA
Hamlin, TX, with cool down at swimming hole.
5:00 p.m.- Meal furnished for rally participants at camp ground.
7:00 p.m.- Biker Wedding- Michael Elkins & Donna Cartwright. All are
invited.
9:00 p.m.- Live Music by "Key West"
Fireworks during the break.

Sunday, July 2:
11:00 a.m.- Bikers Church

Thanks for the update, I hadn't got any further word on this till now....

 

No problem, Elmer. Glad I can help.

Our club has a program called Project Patriot. We're collecting old, worn
and tattered flags from individuals and businesses, then replacing those
with new flags. The folks can donate to help allay the cost of the flags,
or not. We then fold (properly) the old flags and store them, to await
going to Old Glory for the Flag Retirement ceremony.

If you know of anyone who has flags that need to be retired but can't make
it to Old Glory this summer, let me know. We could pick up flags, when we
make the next CoC meeting.
