There is usually a white EPA sticker under the seat or on the back
side of one of the side covers. It gives the idle RPM, ignition
    timing, and the valve clearances.

If the clearances given are metric, multiply the number by 0.0394.

For instance, 0.05 millimeters is 0.00197 inches, so a 0.002 feeler
    gauge blade is close enough.

The difference between 0.05mm and 0.06 mm is only 0.000394 inches,
less than 4/10,000ths of an inch.

    0.06mm is 0.002364 inches.
