72 parts on 76 bike

    I have a 1976 honda 550 four supersport and I was wondering if there was
    any way to see whether front brake system would be the same as those
    from a 1972 honda 550. is there a web site that would let me cross
    reference stuff like this? Thanks

    There's not, but the answer is that yes, it is.

    The styling, clocks and exhaust are completely different, but the front
    brake unit is the same. Also fitted to the Honda CB450 and CB500 twins.

    Actually, I think you can check that on bikebandit.com. I think you
    need to look up parts for both bikes to compare though...in case you have
    any other parts you have.
