B&Q are great for that sort of shit. Threaded rod, angle iron, flat bar
(steel & aluminium), rolls of chain, rope, polythene - all the fun
stuff. They're also cheaper than Wickes for most stuff these days too.

And if they haven't got it then try your local farmer's store. The ones
round here are called Countrywide or something and they do threaded rod.

Has anyone seen your neighbours recently?
I used to pick up those 'how to' booklets in Wickes as an inspiration.
It inspired me to get some other mug to do the hard work.

I see you saw through their cunning plan! Make people *think* the
projects are easy, customer buys all the stuff, starts project, realises
its not easy and Wickes leaflets lie, GAMI at great expense.

Hmm, was Wickes set up by a load of plumbers/builders? Cunning plan if
    you ask me.

I've seen it called screwed rod, stud bar, threaded bar and a few
others but studding isn't one of the commonly used ones. Most places I
work or deal with refer to it as stud bar but as long as everyone
knows what he means it doesn't matter.
