Yes. I believe it is in the regulations, which don't need to be dealt
    with by parliament.

It is possible that it is even less concrete than that, and it's an
internal directive which is even less fightable.

If it's possible to legally fight it, then RACV would have done so or be
working on it. They know their membership would love 'em for it.

It's not a whinge its a message saying this:
to those posters who tell us about their state's regulations it doesn't
apply in joe's case so what's the point of posting?
it's like someone telling you of their illness and instead of getting
helpful advise they tell you of their totally different illness.
yes it is harshweek and a few days to go for it's first anniversary.

Tell him it is ludicrous to get a fine for exceeding the speed limit by 4kph
when you have on a number of occasions exceeded the limit by over 100kph and
never received any penalty for that. :)

Yes, but the 3kph to which you refer is only the accuracy tolerance (+/-3kph)
as prescribed by the equipment manufacturers. 3kph for cameras and 2kph for
handheld and car mounted radar/laser I believe. I wouldn't think this would
be any different to any "regulations" in any other state. It's not a "leeway"
    as such.

Have to laugh...the ugliest build in Williamstown is the old court house(I
think) which is now named the Joan Kirner Community Hall

"Stan Gifford - APAC command centre manager"
and the judge will asked you for the test report to see where your speedo
falls into the 10% tolerance, and when the test result says your speedo is
only 8% out in the opposite favor......your nicked
