Why not? 10 bikes doing 1200km on a long weekend isn't a ride any more ?
    Now, _that_ is harsh.

Arr i was referring to a local ride, like " ok, i'll meet youse guys tomorrow at 8am at *blah* to do a run down
    the GOR/the putty loop/wherever".

Those longer distance sprints still seem to occur, i just cant remember seeing any of the smaller scale
runs being mentioned lately. Either that or i have no idea wtf i've done to my ng client.

There must be more road kill per capita than anywhere else in the world!
You gotta train your night critters how to cross the road down there.

When you think of how few roads we have, and how little traffic at night,
and factor in the huge number of dead things on the road - it make you
wonder how many gazzillion critters there are running around at night.

But never fear - the woodchip industry is getting rid of all the pesky
critter-infested forest at a very satisfying rate, and replacing it with
blue-gum monocultures which are as sterile as a pine plantation and provide
home for neither bird nor animal. Won't be long and we'll be stopping to
take photos of the dead things, they'll be so scarce.

Having said that, I rode past the carcase of a possum today which was about
    the size of a kelpie.

  12. Had a good run down to South Arm Saturday arvo, nice to shake the
cobwebs out again. Bluddy good road that, even for a short run.

Solve both problems - feed the possum to the kelpie and let it grow.
