Just a thought here, But are you counting as you change gear? Coz if you
count the clicks up through the gears once moving you'll only count 5, And
if your thinking wrong, then you'll count 5 gears while actually being in
6th. Don't forget the click down into first to begin with, Just a thought,
    not calling you silly.

Ta for all the responses. Im sure as heck ive been counting correctly, I
aint no Einstein but I can certainly count gear changes and understand that
first is bottom, second is up through neutral, etc etc,

Will be able to check tommorrow when I pick bike up.
    tks

some people are just beyond help

did it occur to you to ask the mechanics to fix it
while its on a 3 month holiday in their workshop??

or did they laugh you out of the shop ??? and send
you on your way on the loaner pink scooter ??

so you thought you would come crying in here
boo hoo my bike has only 5 gears where did number 6 go ??

If you dont want to help then STFU and spend more time on 2 wheels or other
    hobbies.

If you're autisic (for your info that's under the letter "a" in the
dictionary), then I sincerely apoligise. I didnt realise at first.

    Cheers
