My uncle has just bought a basket case '58 tiger cub.

I'm lacking imagination so thought a good Xmas pressie might be a
decent set of Chrome Vanadium spanners.

Am I right in assuming the Cub have Whitworth fastenings?

Anyone recomend a good source of decent quality Whitworth combinations
    spanners/sockets?

Any other ideas for pressies for a Cub enthusiast?

Tools. Er tools and er more tools.

Give <http://www.baconsdozen.co.uk/> a try. Pleasant people to deal with
and the stuff is good enough quality at prices that makes a useful two of
everything an economic possibility. Don't bother bidding for their stuff on
ebay 'cos the Muppets out there always push the auction prices to more than
you can get the stuff direct. Always makes me laugh, that.

Halfords Pro range is good quality and the price is OK too. Larger
superstores carry more than Metric, so may be an avenue to explore.

Copper hammer and/or a polyurethane hammer.
    Torque wrench.
    Beer fridge.
    Beer.
    Angle grinder.
    Prozac.
    Beer.
    Dwell meter.
    Component cleaning bath.
