Does anyone have experience on 50cc engines and DIY Nitrous Oxyde systems?

Funnily enough I was talking about NOS with someone today.
It`s been done on a 50cc twist`n`go scooter bored to 70cc without any
    problems.
Talk to any of the shops that supply the systems and ask them for a set-up
    kit for a single cylinder.
Two potential problems with Nos-ing a 50cc (or any small capacity bike) are,
1: The inlet manifolds are normally rubber, not good for drilling and
tapping to fit the injector nozzle. You`d need to source or make a metal
    version of the manifold used.
2:Electrics, not a problem if it`s already 12v but how are you going to
power the solenoid/fuel enrichment pump if it`s got 6v electrics?

    G`luck anyway.

well, thake a look at this.....

    http://www.hondaheaven.org/Article115.html

    A Supercharged CD50 Honda....

I think that a supercharger maybe is easyer to slap on.
And i do not think it needs to be supplyed with lubricating oil the
convesional way, since two strokes already have oil mixed in the fuel
    vapor...

By DIY, do you mean destroy it yourself?

    It's a 4 stroke...

That looks like an extra air pump off a yank V8 or something. Sort of
the thing I want to do with my CG125.

   ))

I wonder what will happen if he gets a spit back through the inlet
tract... unless he's got a bit of gauze in there to stop that sort of thing.

    :) Heh.. maybe...

I think that there was a Turbo F1 engine that burned the fuel before it
entered the combustion chamber, and injected more fuel into the
combustion chamber too. That was a strange hybrid engine..

Barking mad! I love it. I could do something similar to my C90 but I was
thinking along the lines of grafting a Turbo off a Renault Master van to it.

As someone pointed out you might have lube issues with the 4-stroke unless
you run it on a pre-mix which would be smokey.
Anyway to take an oil feed from engine to the charger?
As for fitting Nos the C50`s have a metal manifold, but god knows how your
inlet tract works as I can`t make it out clearly from the photo`s so where
you`d fit the injector is up to you.

    <snip>

Hi Haaken, in this group, the usual thing is to post a reply at the
    bottom like this.

It's not hard to work out what does what on that bike. There's a plenum
    chamber / flame trap, a compressor, and a carb. I didn't notice a pop
off valve, like the Bugatti supercharged 8s used to have... strange..
