at the rate you're acquiring bikes, you're going to need to - how many
    do you have now?

Umm, I don't know. 5, maybe, or 6. Are two halves one whole, or two
    halves?

Well yeah a double garage would be nice, but I can achieve the same by
having a large shed at the back.

Two halves, and each half takes up about the same space as a complete
    bike. DAMHIK,IJK,OK.

two halves, definitely, though in this case, currently your two halves
of bikes are taking up two bike-sized spaces in my garage.

    You've got my old CD200, Ace's 400/4, a Ducati on order, 1/2 a 7R, 1/2
a RGV - what else? You were talking about buying Will's Turbo, but
reading between the lines, Sweller's got that now?? Are you still
interested in my R65LS when I get it fixed?
I really *must* do a trackday on the RGV soon.

There is somthing fundamentally wrong with you kids there really is.
One bedroom and a kitchen for the bitch and a decent sized
garage/workshoppe with attached snooker room and bar for yourself is all
    you need.

    I remember that dream.
Small consolation but 50 is a certainty now at least.

One needs a good sized double, each part wide enough to park a Hummer
without scraping the doors, plus a third equivalent off to one end for the
workshop/bike park and also decent standing attic space above all three.
'Course in 5 years one will still accumulate enough crap to fill the lot.

    60K over 10 years. Do-able and realistic, I'd say.

    we're 2+2, and the 4-bedroom, 4-reception, 1.5 bath house is slightly
too big[1] - you must have a lot of crap.

    [1] I can't remember the last time I sat in the Conservatory/Utiliy
    Room.

For us, it's more about having a sense of space. For the two of us, it
could be argued that we don't need 4 beds, 4 recpt, 2 bathrooms, gym,
laundry, cellar, etc. etc. but we do because we can, and it's nice to
    have when guests come.

If I stay out here, I could have mine done and dusted in 7 years,
according to a mortgage calculator. I'd be 36.
Living in the Middle East rocks.

As mine is getting pretty wanky in parts (but not in others) I'm not sure
if that makes me feel any better.

    Actually I don't give a ****.

My house gets paid when it gets paid; I still run out of money at the end
of the month; I make "life decisions" in no appreciably different way to
ten years ago which IMO is a good thing (although I drink less in fewer
pubs) and on the whole I'm still young enough to try new stuff.

Which I may have to if things go "hysterical" next week.

One of mine is when I hit 40 (12 year mortgage) and the other 49 (15
year mortgage). Living in France rocks. :)

Only if I'm told to check it...

    <checks>

Yes, yes I'd been meaning to mention it. Might change the number plate
    though.

It is, however, the ducks guts.
