    Do it.

Mind you, filtering is illegal in lots of bits of the US, and they all drive
    like fucktards.

    However:

    - you don't have to sit next to smelly train weirdoes
    - you can get through insanely tight and convoluted gaps by riding Junior
    Kickstart stylee
    - you can keep up with R1s from the lights (up to 45mph, by which time you
have to slam on the anchors)
    - you can kick their arses through slow traffic
    - other bikers look at your bike approvingly, because you officially rock
    - no need to take any shit from idiot train employees who don't understand
the concept of the Oyster card
    - very cheap on petrol

    Downsides

    - sore arse
    - temporarily blinded at certain RPM due to resonant frequency of human
    eyeball
    - no time to read Boris Johnson's column in the Telegraph

You're telling fibs; you know jolly well you're the registered keeper of
    a fine motorcycle.

Downsides? Downsides????? If it read "No time to shoot Boris Johnson, who
writes a column for the Telegraph", then maybe....

Same here in Canada, and they get fucking irate if one uses any of the
"a" lanes. Filtering does not go down well at all and is extremely bad
for the health as *no one* *ever* thinks that you might be doing such
    a thing.
