  1. How do we catch them?

  2. I'm firmly of the 2.30 persuasion. The left hand is usually lighting up,
swigging coke or fiddling with the choons. At no time, except in fraught
situations, is the left hand ever on the wheel.

I went so far one time, on finding a wheel knob, to mount it on the
wheel and used it exclusively for my steering input. Quite good, it was,
although I haven't used it for years and it's probably gone to the great
    rubbish box in the shed.

A net with a 7-foot mesh will let smaller vehicles through, but catch
    them quite nicely, IWHT.

  4. Which C++ header is that defined in?

A bit like dolphin friendly nets, eh? Except that the French will find
    a away around them. Again.

C++? It should be .NET, shouldn't it?

It's always amused my simple mind that in COBOL we PERFORM code, in Java
    they TRY it.

    Maybe that's just me.

    Throw us another one.

  10. I have one of those. Very good it is too especially for low-speed
    manouvering.

Not so good for high-speed cornering though.

I'd guess he's in favour of, or at least ambivalent towards, industrial
    weaving.

And it's "on which you're not an utter luddite", ffs.

Quite. One must maintain ones standards.

  18. I know, I know.. But I'll have you know that I'm fighting a losing
battle here to get our main support website firefox-compliant. It isn't
because it's coded in Visual Studio which (shockingly) does everything
the non-standards-compliant MS way (as opposed to the
    non-standards-compliant Firefox way).

I do keep suggesting that we port our stuff over to mono - that way I
can host the pages on a box with a decent uptime.

Humph. I've been half-heartedly trying to learn Linux, using "Linux
Unleashed" and a copy of Red Hat 5.1 that came with it. This works
    fine at the command-line.

I then tried to upgrade to OpenSuSE 10.2, which, despite several
attempts with different options selected, won't even run the kernel
    and thus won't install.

    So far, I'm unimpressed.
