OK, they would happen, but at higher speeds. Speeds which I'll probably
    not reach.

Blade was ok for me, gixxer is giving me a sore wrist which I can't
    understand. Probably go away though.

Possibly, but I would have thought your ZRX, if anything, would have less
seat bouncing moments due to it's softer suspension - the GSX-R can be
rather harsh over some road surfaces.

I also know that my toy GSX-R can be a bit frisky at times (but the steering
damper does seem to work), so I don't know what the proper ones are like.

I'll say Flib wibble do at this point.

Not properly leant over, more tipping in and changing up at the same
    time.

    Softer suspension, but worse damping.

Is yours the grey and black one, with no yellow on it?

    They look lovely.

Holding on too tight? (Note this is not a euphemism, nor a feedline - it's
    a serious comment)

Otherwise angle of wrist - in theory you're supposed to maintain as straight
a line as possible between hand and arm.

I've considered that, but not caught myself doing it. I'm putting it down to
getting used to a slightly different position. We'll see, maybe it will
criple me, maybe it'll sort itself out. i haven't done more than 140 miles
    in a go yet.

I did 160 yesterday after having not rode the bike in two and a bit weeks.
Today I have a stiff (but thankfully not dead) lower back and slightly stiff
wrists. I do find doing longer rides ends up with me not being able to grip
as well but that usually goes after a 10 minute break.

So yes, I'm sure you'll get used to it, or die.

    [wrist pain]
I had this on the Fireblade, until I realised that I wasn't so much
gripping the whole twist grip too tight, but putting too much emphasis
on resting the palm of my hand/end of my wrist on the bar, taking some
weight through it - I got myself into the habit of moving my hand
slight towards me/clockwise around the bar i.e so that the bit of my
hand parallel to my thumb was on the bar instead, and the pain went
    away.

Also consider tha angle of the brake lever. Even when you're not using
it, this will often define the angle of your wrist with the bars. As
it happens, the gixxer's fine for me, but I always check and adjust as
necessary on any bike I'm going to ride for more than a mile or three.

Haven't checked this year's colour schemes - is it the same as mine,
with none of the usual gsxr patterns on it?

More to the point - he leant the bike over? Must be improving then.
