I've found a novel and equally as pointless use for one of those Walkers
walk-o-meters. Put it on your rear brake pipe right by the caliper to
measure the amount of bumps your suspension soaks up. :)

Mine arrived yesterday and I was scared to find out that yesterday I
had taken just 2,400 steps. And today I have taken 3,778 steps.

It's scary when one is supposed to do about 10,000 a day.

  3. 10,000 steps is unhealthy. I recorded two months' worth of steps and the
most I accumulated was 6,300 and that included walking round the NEC all
    day.

Put it on your bike swing arm, go for a ride, take off bike, attach to
    self, stagger in 'exhausted'. :)

    I do approx 8500 a day without any extra effort - I thought 10 000 was quite
attainable and was if I went to gym or a walk somewhere...

  6. I averaged 1,500 - 2,500 but I'm sure it was counting two steps as one.

Possibly. I'm still not thin so I think it's all a load of crap regardless.

  8. I've put on a few pounds recently and knowing how many steps I've done
hasn't reduced the spare tyre any.

Its not how many, its the way that you do them.

  10. AOL. I can still do my jeans up but my belly's stretching most of my T-
shirts now which looks even more odd because the rest of me is just as
    thing as it ever was.

I compared my one against another brand and found the Walkers one only
showed a quarter of the count of the other.

  12. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Whinging Courier
I see the truck driving training's already started, then.

    I didn't get one.
Just wondering - would it fit around the wrist?

P.S. Please excuse the shaky typing.

  18. Right, I'm off down the market in a jiffy to get my fag ration. I'll
take the Walk-o-meter and attach it to something on the back of the bike
and report back with how far and how many bumps.

    <Goes off to put gear>

    Be back in a bit.........

Okie Doky; 10.1km = 1069 bumps. I really didn't expect there to be that
many as I never got over 35mph.

Christ, get me out of here!

    I'm not that old. =:-O

    So far I've got;

    Bonk-o-meter
    Bump-o-meter
    Walk-o-meter
    Wank-o-meter

Attached to a bit of 4x2 I guess it could make a nice whack-o-meter.
