33bhp restrictor kits

  1. Nope nothing there either. I'm also pretty sure I was never advised to
send my license off after the 2 year period to get it amended.

  2. Possibly, although like I say, it was never even mentioned.

You of all people should know that the F1 certificate is a worthless con.

She does know. She's posted on at least one thread before where the F1
scam has been debunked. Maybe an F1 shareholder, making cash out of
    noobies?

It's a farce. Does every traffic policeman know the BHP of every bike
on the road? Does he know the bloke he's just stopped has a restricted
license? If he does happen to know the BHP of the bike he's just
stopped is he sure it's putting out the power the manufacturers claim?
I'd guess no to all the above.

As a final bit of lunacy AFAIR the legislation doesn't say if the
33bhp applies to he crank or the back wheel - so the fuckers won't
even know where to measure it if they want to.

I restricted Mrs Toad's bike for the full 2 years just out of a
personal desire to keep her within the letter of the law, but F1
internation can **** off with their scam 'certificates' - I bought the
Yamaha OE kit and fitted it myself. So a hearty **** off to everyone
in this thread who's mentioned certificates.

IME people struggle far more with the weight of bikes at low speed
than they ever do with top end power. If you want to restrict
something how about overall bike weight? Even better how about letting
    people make their own choices?
