    There was a story in my erstwhile local paper in Somerset a couple of years
    ago where a driver had hit a girl outside a nightclub and unwittingly
    dragged her about 4 miles until she became untangled. She was quite dead.

    The noteworthy part of the story is that she disengaged at a pub on the A303
    called The Traveller's Rest.

    Not me, although I think I was the first to point out the comedy aspect of
    the sad event to my pals at the time. It was actually reported in the paper
    like that.
