    1- Zero Gravity
When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered
that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this
problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen
that writes in zero gravity, upside-down, on almost any surface
including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over
    300 degrees.
    The Russians used a pencil.
Your taxes are due again -- enjoy paying them.
    2 - Our Constitution
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we
just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's
worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore.
    3 - Ten Commandments
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a Courthouse
is that you cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal", Thou Shalt Not Commit
Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges
and politicians! It creates a hostile work environment.

Also, it's not thou shalt not lie, it's thou shalt not bear false
witness against thy neighbor. So, lie all you want, just don't talk shit
about your neighbors. Also, you probably shouldn't call the cops on em
and make up a bunch stuff about how they are trying to kill you. I told
that bitch, I hit because I care. If I was trying to kill her, I woulda
    shot her.

It's obvious that you don't know. That's why I'm correcting you.

The Russian cosmonauts did indeed use pencils early in the space era. So did
    American astronauts.
Later...Fisher, without any money coming from NASA, created the pressurized
ink pen. And then astronauts did use them. And so did cosmonauts.

Only because I checked things out the first of the hundred times I've heard
    this one before.

We could also discuss Nigerian 419 scams. Or computer virus hoaxes. Or even
    Bonsai Kittens:
    http://www.shorty.com/bonsaikitten/

I guess these all might seem new to some. Fraud, rumors, and out right lies
abound on the Web and maybe I've seen most already. When I read something
that's pretty amazing, my first visit was usually to Snopes or Google.

But if you want to talk about some real bullshit, hey....let's talk
    religion.

======I am not religious. I dont lke to go to Church. I dont not even
own a Suit. uhhhh, lets see. 0h yeah, The USA needs to get out of the
extremely religious nutty area of Iraq. uhhhhh, There are more
than 300 different denominations in the US. Each denomination was
    started by man/woman, not God.
These are a few religious topics, we could discuss, and get our
    ratings up, perhaps. <g> MrJayT=

Well, you are getting a little closer to being religious when you stated the
part about most of our denominations were started by 'man'. You don't sound
    too dumb about it.
As far as not going to church....shame on you!!! Do you really think you can
get to heaven not caring or going to church to worship God? It's going to be
hard enough getting to heaven 'going' to church let alone not going at all.

    next.....???

Now, maybe the ratings will go up and maybe I helped??

Hey (lonestar'vin) ....One doesnt have to go to church to go to heaven.

Shoot, I've got a lotta friends, ''who all of a sudden--got them selves
saved''. That's it. Nothing more to do.

No matter what they do, how they act,,,''they be saved''....(in their
    little minds)

One can watch them ''Preaching fellers on TV, that is as much Church
    that one needs''...(whatChaThink?) :))

    Over? MisterJayTKana=

Well, to my way of thinking, religion is a crutch for society to come to
grips with the condition of death.
And I didn't say nothing about worshipping God, but if your only method of
worship is religion then I don't think you are worshipping God very well.

==Good point. However, I believe when folks say ''religion''; in their
minds, they’re summing up the aspects of the multiplicity of ways
''a'' God is referred to by the multitues, and perhaps referring to the
combined efforts/methods of all mankind who practice some type of faith
towards some kind of God, or some semblance of a higher being. Therefore,
the word ''religion'' is commonly used in this respect. (something like
    that) MrJayT.
