The main use of the bike will be sunday thrashines & 3-4 trackdays a year. I
have used these tyres on a few bikes & really rate them, what are they like
    for track use?

I've never used them on a track but they behaved really well on the
10R when I felt the urge to rag it all over the IoM TT course.

Your suspension settings will **** any tyre if they're not bang on so
try and get that right before you go.

Don't know about over there, but the 2CT made in France were recalled by
Michelin in the U.S. and now some guy on a BMW 1200 or 1300 had his 190 Road
rear split while riding. Luckily for him, he wasn't in a turn when the
    carcass split and blew out.

I have done 3 track days with them on the Voxan; Cadwell, Charade and
Mas du Clos. Charade, in particular, whilst having only one really
quick straight has loads of bends, far more than any short circuit in
the UK. Scrubbed them in very nicely it did.

Bear in mind that's an only 100BHP bike ridden by an old gimmer
    though.

What I like is that the have retained a decent profile even though
also subjected to a certain amount of motorway use.

From what I read, and was told by my friendly tyre suppliers the
splitting problems were somewhat overstated. In any case, IIRC the
original recall was for fronts not rears?

Though perhaps, from what Adie said, there have been other bad
    batches.
