25,000 Americans in Beirut

They are in both of those midEastern countries. Todays ABC news said
there were 25,000 in Beirut. It said that a few Canadians were killed
yesterday in a southern area of Lebanon, in an Israeli attack.
So, it appears, that there are a lotta American Fools, caught in the
middle, pitiful.

If, indeed, they are in the middle.
How many Americans are currently in Israel?

 

That's the scariest thing I've ever heard! Are there no avenues of escape
from where they are? I know that there probably aren't too many
international airports in Lebanon, but I hope those kids can get out as soon
as they can by car, train, boat, scooter, foot or however.

I've known a few Lebanese and none have ever expressed an interest in going
back, just for this reason.
I had one tell me "My family got out once. Might not get out twice".

 

I was in Haifa when Clinton bombed the aspirin factory in Sudan. I am sure
glad I am not there now.
