Water cooling and lots more chrome? Managing to squeeze an awesome 100
horses out of an 1100cc motor? Hardly ground-breaking, now is it?

Although different for HD it was little more than a styling exercise.

In comparison the T-R3 is an inline triple (as opposed to transverse
triple) with a ground breaking capacity.

If you have to ask, you won't understand. I've been married for most
of the last 23 years and would recommend it to anyone.

  12. I don't know who said it originally. I got that little gem of one of my
rellies. It seemed appropriate at the time, yer honour.

Marketing, that what H-D are good at. I bet most of the other
manufactures Triumph included would love to be able to emulate them. New
engine every 40 years and the mark up on mugs, after shave, leather key
    fobs etc... must be huge.

Their bikes maybe crap but by eck they know how to sell them.
