2009 "Dakar" rally announcement

    The organisers of the Dakar rally have announced the course for the 2009
    event. It will be run in January 2009 on a 9,000km loop (incl 6,000km
    of special stages) beginning and ending in Buenos-Aires and travelling
    through Argentina and Chile. Registrations are now open and the race
    will commence on 03/01/2008.
