Interesting in that for the yank market they are not Yamahas, but
'Star' motorcycles. No sign of Yamaha badging on the bikes.

Looks like a Chinese copy of a Softail that's had something large
dropped on it. Who's doing their styling, Hyundai?

I read somewhere it's only being released in the USA

theres a reason for that, americans have no taste in bikes, look at
the 4000ton shitheap cruisers they all lap out on with no brakes, no
    handling and no looks..

FFS.. they would sell 1 in aust.

The data I posted was (obviously) not a complete list of all bike sales
in Australia. It's an extract from the top 10 cruisers and sports bikes
sales to illustrate a point... and there I was thinking that Biggus
would be the only one who didn't get it.

Yea, selective data.. Mine looks better now doesnt it... 2 out of 7
    are sports bikes.

Yes, it was selective data. It showed that a variety of American (and
Japanese) cruisers are more popular than some of the most popular
Japanese sports bikes... and the most popular H-D outsells all but one
of the most popular Japanese sports bikes, and only just misses out on
pipping it by 10 units. Your list above only serves to emphasise that.

So it says that jap sports bikes are the most popular anyway you wish
    to play.
one against one, or add up all the sports bikes in that list, and then
add up the "cruisers/boatanchors" and you still see a trend. what is
    that?

    You are right.

It's just the folk who put the figures together ignore the postie, even
tho it is consistently the top selling bike. Bloody snobs!
