2007 Street Bob Gas Mileage

    I've been breaking-in a 07 Street Bob. I have about 750 miles on the
odometer so far. I've seen a gradual increase in gas mileage. With
the sense that winter/snow will finally arrive in New England, it's
unlikely I'll get in a lot more riding.

I'd like to ask the 2007 Dyna riders out there what kind of gas mileage
you getting riding highway, one-up after several thousand miles.

I'd also like to ask if you're doing a lot more up/down shifting to
stay in the power band. With no tach, it seems riding back roads and
streets any +/- 10 MPH change in speed requires a change to avoid
lugging the engine. (It seemed on the 5-speed 02 Lowrider there was
    13-16 MPH between gears).

TIA for any comments, tips, suggestions,
