The first GSXR 750 was released when I was riding it. My brother-in-law
and I were looking for a touring bike (toss up between a GS1100G or a
Goldwing 1100) when we saw one in the Suzuki dealer at Parra. decided to
have a sit on it. If my b-in-l was not standing next to the bike I would
    have
thrown in on the ground when I lifted it off the side stand. I was used to
    lifting
    300+kg it was about 160kg.

My 750/4 was the supersport. it had twin front brakes 4-1 exhaust and a
    whopping 73hp.

  2. Can you do me a good ausmoto price for two front Harley discs ('99 Road
    King)?

I went from a 250 to do my licence on a 900 twin (that probably went like
todays 250's) but had four years of misspent youth bush bashing experience
to help. Go with your heart but remember rule number one. Don't **** up.

    Pete ....Now I ride a 1550 that goes like a 250!

Hehe,Wollombi road is smoker territory, through Wiseman's though is a
    different story.

You didn't mention you left an awful lot of litre bikes for dead though :)

In the space between the output shaft and the rear wheel, I suspect.

Am I reading this right? A couple of chunks of nylon and a couple of H-T
    bolts cost $130?

    Gary (rocker covers are cheaper)

Of course they do! Otherwise they wouldn't be a Quality Product,
    now, would they?

Hrrrm, think I might keep it at the hint and tease level until it's a
    done deal.

It takes a special kind of idiot to go around buying bikes when out of
    work. I'm one such idiot.

What makes you think they would waste H-T bolts to attach a piece of nylon?

The fact that they double as engine mounts?

  13. Ha! You left more than me... and in the wet too!
I was hoping it wasn't me who was leaking fuel and burning oil!

That Greg character on the ST4 was quick though, I was working my arse
off to keep up with him through Wiseman's - had a fullhouse tank slapper
coming out of one of the last corners before the ferry. Rough bit of
    road that !
Well it was definitely me doing at the least the latter (and I'd not be
surprised if the former as well), which doesn't mean you weren't also ! :-/

    JL
(the real secret is you get out in front and then leave an oil slick
behind so no one can keep traction :)

So *that's* why I had that slide on the way back...

GB, couldn't possibly have been that I gassed it while I
had it leaned over in a wet corner, no, that couldn't
be it! Must have been that Littler bugger...

I see. Branching out, Nev? OK, *airhead* rocker covers such as I might
    require.

Best new price I could find was ~$100 a side. Slightly less than the
best second hand price I could find.........
