Heh. So'd my wife. But maybe Anne plays a more subtle game. He's
probably had to do the washing up and cleaning around the house ever
    since....

She'll probably not be very happy with VD for letting the cat out of
the bag and destroying her leverage

  5. Worth it, IMHO.

Just think of the fun we can have next spring. Someone can bring a
nappy, someone else a pair of incontinence pants, someone else one of
those hospital piss-bottles, someone else some lock-wire and wiring
    pliers....

Hours of fun for all the family. Tim, you are going to suffer.

  6. Don't take the piss out of Tim: he won't have any left for the bed.

    I'm keeping a log here:
    http://www.horrible.demon.co.uk/bikes/racing2005.htm

The idea of the series was to keep costs to a minimum,
hence the 600 2-valve engine being specified. There
are also a whole load of other restrictions, and it's
likely that we'll be running a control tyre (sponsored)
and also a no-warmers rule too, all to help keep the
    cost down.

While you could go out and buy a 620 SS Sport with the
620ie engine, dual brake disks and decent(ish) suspension,
then add a slipper clutch new tyres and pads each round
and so on, you're still not going to be able to do that
much more to it which would see anyone with a big enough
    cheque-book walk the championship.

The idea being to level the playing field as much as
possible, keep it cheap and therefore fun at the same
    time.

So far a lot of people have picked up older monsters and
SS bikes for around the 1500 quid mark. You then need to
make a few adjustments to get it ACU compliant and that's
    about it.

9 hours roughly from the border to Paris, so Andalucia to the boarder
would be about 9 hours too.

    So I'd say 18, non-stop.
