    We've recently purchased a new Kawasaki Z750.

Very happy with the bike overall, a great purchase.

However, there's just one little problem - the poor placement of the
    mirrors.

Even tho the mirror stems are quite long, you cant see behind you -
you're view is either the full lane beside you, or your arm, take your
    pick.

    I've tried out a Yamaha long-stem mirror as a replacement, but it's
    not much better.

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for these mirrors, or maybe
found an adaptor to fit between mirror and handlebar to extend their
    reach?

    Thanks

Alot of guys in the states buy mirror extenders for their bikes. Do a google
or just some general research, they're definately out there.

It's not hard to make wee brackets out of a bit of angle iron, a
bolt and a nut. On the other hand, it might shake like a bastard.
Aftermarket dirt-bike mirrors are generally pretty good.
