    I was exaggerating a tad...

The GSXR costs £575 quid but I have 4 years NCB and insured it after
some points were removed from my licence. Because I'd been riding
bikes rather than driving cars, my Civic is my first ever car (I drove
other peoples for the last 10 years). The Civic also is fecking group
10 insurance despite being a slow shed. So it costs 600 quid tpft
with 1 year NCB and was insured before 4 points got removed from my
licence. This year it should be substantially cheaper with 2 years
NCB but I'll be insuring Anya on it and she'll have only just passed
    her test...

  2. Giving the insurance another chance to score, ah well that's life. I
believe that my daughter's ex-BF was initially quoted £1600 on some
fairly innocuous car. It came down a huge amount with pass plus so
would be worth getting Anya to take that also.

I don't think she'll pose too much trouble. Although she'll have just
passed, she's over 25 so will get cheap insurance anyway. Initial
quotes are showing that my insurance will basically stay the same
rather than come down by 20%.
