Got some 20/50 by Rock Oil.

Found a great little bike shop called Macs Motors in SW London down Tooting
High Street - Power to the People! - down the side of Tooting Broadway
station on the way to Colliers Wood/Wimbledon.

Mr Mac was very helpfull: "20/50 is it? For an old XT you say. We got loads
of that here mate, always got some in, all the old Beamers love that stuff."

Got an oil filter off him too. And some brake shoes. Could of got a load of
other stuff as well, but I managed to resist! It's only a small shop, with a
workshop round the back, but they seem to cram everything you could ever
need in there. Worth a visit if you're in the area and need something.

Thanks to for all the help and input. The old thumper is purring.

  2. I've been using Mac (Paul Ricketts is the boss there) for years. Proper
old-fashioned bike shop, as you ssay, that sells stuff for just about
    anything.

He deals in Reliants as well! Great place. Also has an MoT station,
which is useful, but he's quite strict on the testing.

You must live close to the Chateau then.....

Hmm. To me that sounds like someone saying 'bite me' to a vampire...

    Exactly,

Which is why I would like to know when he's anywhere near me.

<sfx: sliding of bolts and clinking of keys>
