You disappoint me. Mine was black, and very handsome it looked. Cost me a tenner it did, and that's double what I usually paid for AMC 350s and 500s Send e-addy...
Posting drivel you have heard secondhand seems to be something thats very common on this group. When it comes to first hand experience, this seems to be pretty rare, and restricted to things like Weggs posts about a lashed up old 500 Triumph....... which he obviously doesnt have much of a clue about! In terms of "classics" none of the bikes "Lozzo" lists at the end of his posts are ever likely to be considered as such, except perhaps by others with little money to spend on bikes, who could never hope to afford a real classic machine. k

I had to get rid of it because I was fed up with being pestered by groupies at every traffic light so I sold it to an ex- girlfriend, who had exquisite taste (and who tasted nice too).
At moments like this it's about time TOG posted a link to the WW2 German outfit we saw in France a while ago.
Yes, ISTR they are. It's a truly marvellous tribute to 70s 'bling'. (Button velour and leather interior, fake wire wheels, deep red metallic with a white roof and lots of chrome)
It may not be Japanese, German or Italian, but don't let it break your non-British record, it's almost entirely French.
I trust you replaced the seat, grips and footpegs? (longstanding joke twixt me and a mate about contamination of ex-dibble bikes, not aimed at any dibble in particular)
