I got back in on Monday to find half a dozen emails that my line manager had
sent over the weekend[1] on this very topic. Things are a bit unstructured
atm - we've just awarded a Very Big Contract to a supplier other than the
one we've spent fucknose how many years building up relationships with. One
of my principal contacts was borderline weepy yesterday and waiting for her
P45. We have a meeting tomorrow to find out about things like TUPE and
"who's in scope". Not that I'm worried either way.

It might be interesting to have a job where I could explain what I do
without using Powerpoint. Hand me my shovel and show me the shit...

    [1]****** */sake/* No wonder she's Home Alone.

Shite. Never been on that end ot things, just the opposite end. Hope
it works out for the best for everyone concerned.
I can't promise that's likely to happen if you're outsourced...
    DAMHIK,yada,yada..
Well, if she's outsourced they'll find work for her...

    ho hum..

  5. Heh. I used to think I was thrashing the tits off mine (for GSX550
values of "thrashing the tits off", obviously). It's a miracle it held
out as long as it did.

Just got the notification from DVLA that the old Bindit 600 is no longer
registered in my name. I shed a tear or two, I did.

I don't get frustrated. I just phone round all my contacts every couple of
days, getting updates and passing on updates, and they all think I'm great
and have my finger on the pulse. This time last year, I did actual work.

The difference is, the Trophy has around twice the power and doesn't spin
the clutch when the power comes in. This bike really will land me in court.
    I still miss the GSX.

    Hmm...

SUZUKI GSX550ES, 1987-D, MoT, tax, 16k, recent tyres, battery. Ultra
reliable machine, excellent condition throughout. £550. 01628 637922,

    Nah, better not.

I rode one when I had a GSX750EFE, the 550 was gutless compared to that,
and the 750 was gutless compared to everything else out there.

Oh, dear. She's just bought a ZX-9R, too.

I'll wake her up and tell her - at least I'll get a good night's kip
while she's up biting her nails.

Crikey, must be months since I posted that, you dredging through your
    recycled bin or summat?
She'll 'ave to fight Blaney for it... or make me a better offer :)
